What are the benefits to doing a knuckle to knuckle tie rod conversion, such as seen here: http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RS-SC250-UV&Category_Code=ste as opposed to doing something along the lines of a ZJ conversion? Both are bolt on and require no modification to anything.

The biggest benefit I see is no change in toe during suspension cycle.
WIth the inverted Y setup, everytime your front axle stuffs up into the fenders (speedbump, for example), your tie rod effectively gets longer.

Plus, any upgrade increases strentgh over the stock setup.

The geometry can be setup way better. I actually have a knuckle to knuckle tie rod I've been planning on using for a while now.
