Hey guys,
Looks like the chances of my coming back are pretty good. In fact, I may be headed back up that way as early as this upcoming weekend depending on what jobs float my way.
It may be awhile before I have a rig again, as first off I need a home for my family, but I will get back into it when I can.
BTW, thanks to the glorious admin here who have gone above and beyond the call in helping me find work up there.

welcome AKMark. Would like to see you get back to the AK part of your name. As of right now, you are carrying retired AO status, as AO retired members are welcome here. O fcourse current AO is as well, but you know what I mean.

Geesh Nate......Can you type a more robotic or automated feeling response?
It's all good, just messing with you because I can. (I didn't realize I used a naughty word, sorry.)
No word from where I was supposed to get info from today. Tomorrow, I hope to get a few phone calls/emails and we'll see what happens.

Mark I hope it all works out for you and your family. You're sure putting a lot of miles towing your stuff around.

Well, it looks as though the jobs down here have literally dried up. I have one last possibility I'm going to call this afternoon, but if that doesn't pan out, I will probably be heading up in your direction.
More to come, but gotta make a living you know.

It does look as though the jobs at the Gold Mine have also been hired already.
Still looking though.

That's alright. There's a Suburban that has perturbed myself and a good friend. If I get back up there, we will both take sawzalls to it and when we are done, it will be a good offroad rig. We hope.

Well another turn down in MN, another interview in MN.
Only one call from AK, just letting me know they got my info.
Unless the interview tomorrow gets results and/or a potential boss in AK asks me to come up with them footing the bill, I might be headed that way next week.
If this last interview goes dry, all options I've put in for down here have dried up. I even tried to get a job at what we thought was a local trucking company working at the farms and local construction stuff. Turns out they are on the road 5 nights a week, and wanted more logged miles, to which my response was "logged?" Anyway, I won't be working there.
If the last interview does not produce, it makes no sense to stay here, as there's nothing else I have found at this point worth sticking around for. I hope to hear from the companies in AK (Kelly what about Brice?) this week yet, and would like to secure something prior to heading that way, but we shall see. I may try to make an appearance without the trailer first and see what happens. :stooges:
If any of you know of anything that might help, companies hiring, etc.........CALL ME 907-978-9011.
Am I desperate? Yes, because at this point I don't have to accept unemployment and don't want to have to in order to make it through this period in my life.
I'm praying for ya brother, hope all can be worked out.

Ron, did you ever get the resumes? Kev finally got them awhile after I sent them, but prior to my lame attempt to put them into the body of an e-mail.
So if you still do not have them, get with Kev.

I definitely do know the feeling man. Hope things work out.
On a side note I just got a phone call for a job at the university I applied for 2 months ago...well it's full-time so I can't meet the schedule requirements now due to my college classes. :\
Wish they'd have called beginning of January.

Well there's that new gold deposit found up by Livengood that may or may not be prospected within the next year...just in time for me to graduate and put in my resume for a job there. If not, there's always Prudhoe. Good money in either of them, hopefully I'll be able to keep whatever I get. :\
Anyway, /hijack
