My story is the same as Matt Fourdoors. I was on another local club's website and it seemed all they did was web wheel. I had a brand new (to me) stock Wrangler and was itching to get it dirty. Someone PMed me at the other site and told me to check out Frozen Axles. The rest is history.

Um...Inside tip? Not exactly sure how to categorize how I heard of it. :D
I went to a meeting for another club earlier in the year with my wife. We didn't go back but a few months later, I remembered hearing about FAO and decided to check it out. I've been impressed ever since.

I was deployed and since I had bought a jeep on leave, I began my search. It didn't take long before Matt mentioned FAO to me on Jeepforum.com. The rest is history.

let me tell you about how I heard about Frozen Axles. The name came from Kelly and Lorna. Ron, Kelly, and I decided we wanted to "float our own stick" and make a go of starting our own club. It started with an idea that we could put together something that was stable, strong, and small and grow it slow and steady. The website was up for just a little under a month before we even told anyone about it since we were working out the bugs and how to structure it so it would work and grow.
We picked up the phone and called a few of our friends who were interested to know and told them there was a website. I imagine a few of them knew we were putting together something because you just can't shut-up guys like Ron and kelly.
This club was started by friends for friends, and should stay that was throughout it's life cycle.

I was on an island in the middle of the Pacific when the website was launched. Who was I gonna tell, Nemo? :D
