Hi my name is Raymond or Ray for short. Been on Wainwright with the army sense March of 2009. Looking for some good company to do some wheeling with.
Run a 2002 TJ 4.0L 5 speed with a 3.5 RE super flex suspension lift and a JKS 1.25 BL, 33" tires, 10K winch and lots of other stuff. Some heavy modding on the way in the form of Dana 44s front and rear ox lockers 35" tires and whatever else I can play around with.
Looking forward to meeting some people and doing some runs because wheeling alone is for the birds........ sometimes:D
Welcome. You will notice that there are a few of us Army folks here. I'm sure we will see you around post. Keep an eye out for the frozen lunches so you can come introduce yourself. Also, take a quick look at the trail requirements in the bylaws so that you don't have a last minute scramble when a ride comes up.

Hello and welcome to our club! We're a tight group of guys here, not many of us, but what we lack for in numbers we make up for in quality. Come check us out during a Frozen Lunch, or next month's meeting. We're always up for wheeling, and we will usually have one or two rides a month, plus a few impromptu, last minute hey-you rides. I think I have seen your Jeep at FWW before. Where do you work? If you answer yes to Boostlesstj's question above, then I have the same job as you, but on C123. In any case, welcome to FAO and I hope to meet you and see you on the trail.

So I'll be in the market for some 35s in about 4 weeks I know a lot of you guys run the STTs and they look like a good tire, but my all time favorite tire for a NONE trailer-ed rig are the BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM's. Have any of you guys run the new km2 up here or know someone that has?

I have BFG MT's on mine, but they're not the new KM2's. Don't know anyone else that runs them.

just stay away from goodyear mt/r

I was going to get KM2s in 32s, they are great tires, but went to Duratracs because they had great mud and snow reviews. Duratracs aren't available in 35s though, the closest they get is a metric size that is a 34.5, for a 16" wheel.

I have the Kumho Road Ventura Mud tarrain tire KM71 done me good for a 8k lb truck

I would go with the KM2's. I've seen the STT's and them on similar rigs up here on the trail at the same time and the KM2' were way better. I know of one rig up here that went through holes that with ease that everyone else was having issues with even me locked front and rear with Super Swamper SSR's. I loved my older BFG MT's and I was going to go with the KM2's when I go up a few tire sizes but it'll be swampers instead. Now I'm not saying the STT's are bad but I think the KM2's are better by far.

Seeing how I love the old BFG KM's and would run them any day...... I'm thinking I'll go with the KM2's even though they are back ordered until the end of May which isn't that big of a deal seeing how that's when my new axles will be making it to my house anyway.
I will be coming to the May meeting if that's ok?..... Not sure if I'm suppose to go to a lunch or something before a meeting.

One of the main purposes of the meeting is for new club prospects to come see what we're about, meet and be met by members, ask questions, and just have a good time. Anyone is invited to a meeting, you will be welcome. Besides, it is also a requirement for wheeling with the club.

I can bring some sodas or anything else. I just don't have a cooler that I can fill full of ice. Plates, forks, knifes and cups? Just let me know and I'm more than happy to help out.
Posting here seeing how I don't have posting rights yet just about anywhere else.

About the same price every where. Depends on which ones you are looking for and size. I've actually never paid for any before so I don't know their prices.
