I've got a CUCV D60 for my FSJ/M715 project. It will bolt right in other then Steering. I need to come up with a high steer set up. Never played around with this stuff so I'm looking for advise and or options on whats out there. Are there kits avalable or is this going to be a custon fab project?

I bought the ORD (Off Road Design) crossover steering kit for my CUCV and plan to upgrade to the high steer option something soon. To add high steer, all I need to buy is the left hand arm, tie-rod and tie-rod ends. The only thing you may have to customize is the drag link to your steering box. You may not want to buy the complete ORD kit because you'll probably need a different pitman arm for anything other than a Chevy kit.
Once you get the axle mounted up under the truck, we can see how the drag link from the ORD kit fits. It may work or you may need a custom length/bent drag link.

I'm getting ready to do the same setup on the kingpin D60 I am swapping under my TJ. My axle is basically just like yours. You can buy a set of high steer arms that will bolt on over the top kingpin covers. With those, you can fab a draglink from your steering box to the passenger side and then fab a centerlink from knuckle to knuckle. It's really easy to do. I just bought a set of arms on Ebay for $134 delivered.
From our experiences, don't spend the money on AGR products. In the last year, we've replaced half-a-dozen AGR pumps and gear boxes. They don't seem to be built very strong.
On the flip side, I've been running a PSC pump, gearbox and hydro-assist ram for the last 3 years with zero issues. The quality seems to be a lot better.

Thanks Rob... I was looking at some on Ebay last night. Looked like they were set up so you needed your own reamer to put the taper in for teh tierod. What are you using for tie rod ends and adjusters? How are you putting teh threads on the drag link and tie rod? Some sore of weld in insert or threading them maybe...

I'm not going to be using TREs, so I don't need to worry about the taper. I'm going to be using 3/4" Heims like we do on all of our steering setups. As far as the adjusters, we make our own using 1 1/2" DOM and welding in threaded inserts. Then the jam nuts and heims thread right in.

I'll probubly go that route too. Where are you getting the inserts and Hemi joints?

We used to get them from Poison Spyder. Word is a new owner bought them and they will be opening back up soon but I'm not sure what products they will be carrying.
You can get the inserts and heims from Rusty's, Poly Performance, Blue Torch Fab, or Ballistic Fab. All of those are great companies and all of them make killer pieces.
