i am asking if there is anyone out there that has a better understanding than i, please give a less than rough description if possible.

i just don't get the point of it. to my understanding, a higher stall speed means that it wouldn't engage until higher rpm's, how is that possibly a desired effect? what are the gains from that, other than less weight in your wallet at the pump from never acheiving lockout and having to peg the motor to pull out of your parking space?

i'm clearly missunderstanding it, please help :confused::confused:

A higher stall speed allows the engine to get farther it to it's power band. but will build more heat.
