Hello all, my name is ren, stationed here in Ft Wainwright, 11 years in the Army, owner of a 98 Wrangler Sahara. Stock so far, but the mod itch is bugging me... I've been wheeling alone in Ft Wainwright lately and looking for people to wheel with. Looking forward to get together and enjoy the trails in the Interior!

Welcome to the forum. You will be able to do a good bit in the interior in a stock form so dont worry about that one.
We are doing some wrenching tonight at "The Bronze" household if you want to come out. Other than that we should have some rides coming up in the next week or two.

Thanks for the welcome! Tonight I'm bringing a car home for my wife, it's our 5 year anniversary tomorrow and she wants a pet... Another time would be great.
I actually got a bidget lift for my TJ this week and should be installing it on Friday, 2" of doom! My wishlist for suture mods include 32" tires, a winch, Aussie Locker up front.
If anyone is riding this weekend I'm game, morning and late evening time is better for me as the wife goes to sleep early and wakes up late

Number one rule in FAO: "Family First"
A budget boost and 32's are a great place to start. Keep checking the board to rides and post up if you need help with the lift. A Budget Boost is pretty straight forward so you probably wont have any problems.

You got that right! Ain't no wheeling if the wife's a-screaming!

Good thing is I paid $30 for the bidget boost :D I'm blasting all the bolts I'll be removing for the BB with PB Blaster on Thursday, hopefully by Friday they will come off without too much drama. I'll be doing it at the auto craft shop on Wainwright, so they have air tools to convince the 11-year old hardware to come undone. Hopefully I won't break anything

I'm with C Co 123 AVIM. I should head out to the auto craft shop after 5 pm or earlier if they let us go early.

nah, the sand beige one belongs to one of our most squared away lower enlisted soldiers, he wants to go wheeling too, but wants to make sure his Jeep is running good. His has a 3" lift, mine is stock, right now. Mine is dark green with a tan top.
I have replaced the factory fog lights, which were broken, with Hella 500s; and I painted by headlight bezels black.

I think I see your Jeep almost everyday on the way to work. Sometimes you might see me driving my other car, you can't mistake it, a dark metallic blue Subaru Forester with dark tints.

We need to get in touch and go wheeling together. With this rain today wheeling around FWA will be fun...!

That would be awesome, mine have almost 100k and 11 years old, I bet they have some sag.

Ren, Hi and welcome. My rig should get finished up Friday and I will be taking it out for a little jaunt Saturday morning to make sure it is all working well. After that I'm loading it up on the trailer for M&G 09!

I'll probably be up for some wheeling Saturday morning, I'd love to tag along. I read about the M&G in Palmer, I wish it was a bit closer. There is a slight possibility that i might swing by, but that's not looking good right now. if I go I'll be driving my Jeep all the way there.
