I haven't had a chance to investigate it but thought I'd ask for input...
Symptoms... Shimmy on deceleration and breaking. It has an OME 2" lift. Was doing this on the old factory tires that were pretty warn. Seemed to go away when i went to the BFG AT's but has now come back.
Tie rod or track bar mount I'd guess. Anything else I should look for?

anything loose (track bar, control arms, etc). Put it on a lift or jack it up and check your ball joints. If those are good check the tires for pressure and balance. If all of that is good check the springs to make sure they are seated right (thats what caused my problems way back when).

I had an alinment done and that cured 90% of it. Still a bit of shimmy and I'm thinking a new heavy duty trac bar might help. Any thoughts?

I have to ask if it is pulsing int he brakes or a shimmy. Check the unitized bearings next. Those stupid things always like to go out.

Before the alinment it would get worse on hard accelaration or breaking. Now there is just a slight shimmy going down the road but I notice it more when I hit a dip or pot hole. RA road tracks seem to bring it our too.

I know this isn't the cheapest fix but get some adjustable uppers and adjust it out and it will take care of it. When I put my 4.5" on from my 3" it was really bad when I hit small pot holes and when I adjusted them out it cured it 100%.
