Ok, so dont beat me up too bad on this, Im not the most mechanical inclined person. The 35's I bought have chrome rims, and I want them black. What is the best solution to do this? Is there anything I can do to ensure that the paint will stick to the rim? Sanding, etc...
Thanks for reading and I welcome all and every tip to do this.

I would guess you could rough them up with some light grit and then primer them. Either that or go get them powder coated. Probably expensive, but cool

Anywhere around here do that, one that you would recommend?

One of our officers had stuff on his Harley powder coated at Superior Coatings (http://www.alaskapowdercoat.com/), he liked their job, recommends it.
You could sand off your chrome with an air tool (auto craft shop has them), then prime it, add a few coats of black to make it think, then one or two coats of clear (shiny or dull, whichever you want). That should make for a nice home made paint job. I've seen it done to very nice results before.

sandblasting it would be the way to go if your painting then you should be good to prime and paint whatever color you want.
