Hey this is C.A.

I live in Fairbanks, but am out of town a lot for work. I love to wheel and always looking for an excuse to get out. I wheel two different rigs, my 2006 Jeep Rubicon and my 1985 CUCV. I enjoy driving both of them; the Rubi has a nice ride and creature comforts and the CUCV is pretty utilitarian, but has brute force to take me where I want to go.

Looking forward to wrenching and wheeling with everyone. Both of my rigs are works in progress so I'm always doing something. I also hope to build a truggy this summer. This will be a serious build and as they say "built, not bought".

Frozen Axles welcomes CA in his pursuit of FAO membership

I can't believe almost an entire year passed already since I've signed up at Frozen Axles. It was a busy year and I didn't get in much wheeling in which was disappointing. I'm just about done on my major house remodeling so I should be able to spend more time on my builds. I was getting close to membership, but too much happened towards the end of the year.

I'm going to get the lift on the Sami this month and hopefully the transmission rebuilt for the CUCV. I guess I have 6 months to get my stuff back in order before I can work towards membership. Hopefully it won't take that long to get my rigs back on the trail.
