My name is Dan. My wife is Amber. We've been in the Fairbanks area since March of this year. I have a 2006 TJ X that is for the most part stock except for the liner I made for the hard top. We'll see if the glue holds when it gets 40 below. I'm in the army. I keep seeing a dark red jeep with a FAO sicker on the hood by my hanger and thought I'd check out the site.

I'm here to sponge up as much knowledge as I can so I can start doing some of the cool mods on my jeep myself. That and I want to find some great trails in the area to explore. We also have a 2007 Patriot for the grocery-getter. My wife and I just found out we are expecting our first child, so I will probably have to get in as much fun as I can before the little bugger comes around.

Welcome to the forum Dan! The guy you are seeing in the maroon TJ is Matt (boostless here). You will be surprised where a stock TJ will go. Congrats on the baby too :2thumbs:

Hope to see you on the trailride this weekend!

Welcome to FAO! Like Ron said, you'll be surprised what a stock TJ can do, I was wheeling all stock on my first ride and really didn't think I'd make it through some sections, but the Jeep proved me wrong.

All- Thanks for the warm words. Hanger 1 is right. I'm holding down the fort for A Co. until they get back.

Hopefully I'll see some of you on Sunday.
