any words of advice on best ram assist install

hi guys next week im installing a 1.5 ram with 6 inch stroke on my yota from trail gear comes with everything i need to install ..

main concerns are on maintaince for being in mud all the time and protecting it on the axle ..


any ideas ?

Build a skid for it. with your skills that should be an easy and quick job. don't worry about the mud too much. If it is a good cylinder no mud or water will get in the cylinder it's self. If you want then maybe once a year or probably even less often you can rebuild the cylinder with new seals and such but I don't see that being a problem. My dad said they rebuild their cylinders or the mine shuttle cars about once every three years and usually they don't even need it then and they get used alot in some bad conditions. Use a good synthetic based fluid also.
