I was browsing around all the different tube fenders and saw an interesting alternative to a strange-looking all tube fender.
Warrior products makes a tube flare....wouldn't hold up to hard core wheeling, but may be just the thing for running over willows up here at -20.

Anyone considering this?

I was considering it. My thoughts were initially to go with Bushwacker's Flat Flares, but then I realized that -40 would probably crack em. This was my second notion though. I think that I'm gonna hold out for the whole fender though, not just a flare.
Anyone else notice the red jeep and the yellow jeep in the product images are the same?
mMMM photoshop.

I had seen them before and they look nice, the fact that they are steel makes it even better. They cost $316 for the front and $322 for the rear at 4wd.com.

Changing colors on Photoshop is one of the easiest tricks, but it looks pretty cheap there, makes you wonder who's designing their website.

I've never known a WP product to be top notch.

Those are indeed awesome! I love the idea of a removable flare. I just don't like the price....

Yeah but for another $250 you can get Genright's Highline kit with 3" flare.

I have always liked genrights tube fenders...they appear to have changed them this model year to a more tapered, less covering flair....i like the old style better.

Yep, I like that kit too, only problem is you have to trim your hood yourself... I think you can probably get as much clearance out of this kit as you can the genright, these have the bend in it that clears about 2 inches of hood room.

I've been talking with Maston at Metalcloak over the last couple of days. He said that if there were a couple of us that wanted these tube fenders, then we could combine the order and have them ship it on a pallet to save some dough. They are also on sale for about $100 off right now. Just thought I'd share.

right after we finish a bronco project, gears project, trailer and groomer project, and whatever else I am missing...
Kinda need to wrap up a few loose ends before we try to tackle anything additional, but yes, I agree that these would be sweet to make.

they make these for an XJ right?

I'm sure Rob at MVC could do some for the ole XJ. I haven't actually looked to see if they have any type of FF/TF for a Cherokee.

I like the look of rear tube fenders, but most front ones look kooky to me. I'd like them if they were wider.

Matt checko ut JCR offroad. They make some fender guards with tailight and courner guards. Then bend some tubing to match the contour. Fill in the gap with sheet metal, paint and call it a day. This is what I'm doing along with the boatsides. I'm going to see how much greer will charge me for doing the flat steel bending. If they are cheap enough I'll go that route. Become a member of NAXJA and you get a discount through JCR offroad.
