Been looking at this forum since I found out I was coming to Wainwright back last December. Lots of great info about the area and mods. Just got here in late August. And after being severely disappoint with the performance of my F150 on the trail. I took the only coarse of action I could think of......... I got a JEEP. My new ride (or new to me) is a 06 Unlimited Rubicon. Only mods so far is a winch and some lights. What little off roading I have done in it, has been a blast. And I look forward to more. Hoping Santa will bring me a lift and some tires. Guess we'll see.

Nice to meet you Allen! Good to see someone bring in a Rubicon. We got loads of TJs in here but the only Rubicons I ever see are afraid of the dirt, or so it seems.

I'm not afraid of the dirt. I actully went back and got a refund on the extended warranty that I bought so I would be able to build mine the way I want it. Now, if I can just get the financing from the budgeting office(aka Michelle). I think alot of people have no idea what a Rubicon is. They just buy it because it looks cool. I had to explain it to the salesman that I bought mine from.

Yeah, car salesman aren't all car guys, unfortunately. Most of them are just pushing a product they don't understand.

True. I guess I made it easy on him. I know exactly what I wanted. And the price was right. Now I just hope, I can stay warm, with a soft top. LOL

YOu will be warmer in your soft top than a hard top, from my experiences with both.

Didn't mean a new Jeep. What I meant was a new top. Guess I should read stuff before I post it. LOL
