I am new here, heard alot about you guys from a friend and thought i should join. I have a 1984 Chevy silverado 3/4 ton 4x4 on a 6" suspention lift running 37x12.50x16.5. I also heard most you guys run Jeep's, is there a reason or only a personal preferrance?

That is personal preference. We welcome all types of rigs as long as they hold to the guidelines of the club bylaws.
we hit the trails regularly so come out to a meeting or lunch and see what we are about. If you like what you see, become a recruit and pursue membership

Welcome to the forum :2thumbs:
Just be prepared to get some cool pin-stripes. The vehicle in front seems to always be a zuk and you can hear him laughing all the way in the back of the pack as we go through the overgrown trails.
Don't worry. The trail rides are awesome. You really get a good view of Alaska with a great group of people who are very knowledgeable and extremely willing to help.
Come on out.

We have frozen lunches pretty much every week during lunch time on a day predetermined day posted in the frozen lunches thread. We will Also have a meeting during the first week in January. You can also come out to one of our functions like the upcoming trail trailer build.
Once you attend any one of those we can get you started as a recruit and on your way to membership

I suppose that I can vouch for this guy....I've only spent the last year in Iraq with him. Welcome to the site buddy. I'll let you know when the functions are, since you work right next to me in the office.
