I am just not in Alaska. Moved away from Florida so the Jeep is now back out on the road and trails. Now live in Great Falls, MT. Wanted to get back to Alaska but, this was as close as I could get. The Jeep needs some TLC as it sat for the better part of 4 years in my garage.

Welcome to our little forum John! Good to see you out of Florida an back into wheeling. How is the family?
Lawson and I wheeled quite a bit together a few years ago and got into some good trail time on 55 mile, old Manchu trail and Fairbanks Creek. Lawson is best known for his club beats on the trail while wheeling.

Nothing like a little Techno while wheeling!

If your ever up for a road trip to the black hills look me up. The Black Hills Jeeps hold an event called Jeep Camp every year in June, 4-5 days wheelin, camping, games and prizes! TNT Custom's has been down for the last 2 years and has donated some really good stuff.

Hit me up with details as we get closer. I could trailer the Jeep down for some wheeling.

Here is the web site http://www.blackhillsjeeps.com/ Jeep Camp info hasn't been updated yet but the dates will be June 14-19. There is some more info on the Forum, we are trying to get the cost down because of the addition of the required trail stickers for the Black Hills.

Nice, I mapped it. About 9-1/2 hours away. I will stay tuned we are also looking to go to Yellow Stone that month. Might just need to take a few axtra days off.

Man, I hope you like Malmstrom better than I did. I dont think the wind ever quit blowing while I was there. There are some good wheeling areas, just watch out for the drifts.

Dan, Lawson here is the guy that helped me build the batwing bumper, aka the bad mustache. He may still have the dimensions and directions for it. That rendition bumper that was mine is now on Jackrabbit George;s TJ

Bad Mustache, Man that is funny. Never even thought or saw it before you posted in here. See the photo above as it is still on the Jeep. When I hit something that bends it I might replace it. Cannot beat the price, I think at the time me and Nate had a total of about 130.00 bucks in both bumpers total for his and mine mounted. Plus the time it took us to do the math for all the cuts and angles.

That was a good time. I don't know if you ewe saw the final rendition of my rear bumper but I put a receiver hitch in it, made the swing away tire attire and made anwrench latch system.
The front bumper I sold to George who plated the whole thing in 3/8" steel adding over 100 pounds to the weight

Ronster: Got any info about trails in the area? Hook me up.
Nate: I did not see the finished product. My Front is unchanged and the rear has only had a hitch added to it for towing my little trailer around to move my motorcycles and ATVs.
