Frozen Axles Offroad association started small, confidential, family oriented, and without a lot of fanfair, with 3 target purposes:

A. Wheel
B. Wrench
C. have fun

Our current direction is as follows:
1. develop an offroad club
2. develop a cooresponding website with a primary web page and a link to a forum that we utilize to plan wrenching and wheeling sessions as well as frozen family functions.
3. attempt to partnership with Alaskan offroad clubs to support land use issues, developign relationships and useage for the betterment of the sport
4. gain Tread Lightly! affiliation
5. create competant, intelligent technical information on our forums so it is not just a blab forum.
6. Wrench to get all of our rigs up to speed for the coming wheeling season.
7. plan to open new-to-us trails so we do not continue to utilize the same old trail systems and overuse to the point of erosion.
8. Grow a small, sturdy base of competant wheeler/wrenchers who display family oriented trustworthy behavior.
9. Steer our new club in a new direction in 3 different areas

A. cohesiveness
B. public perception
C. goals and realistic expectations

Being a new member now I have a question about this for the senior members.

Where do you feel the club is on this?

Being a new member now I have a question about this for the senior members.

Where do you feel the club is on this?

my only thought is I would like to wheel more and wheel more new-to-us trails. Other than that, I think we are right on target for the direction we planned to start off on, based on this:

Frozen Axles Offroad association started small, confidential, family oriented, and without a lot of fanfair, with 3 target purposes:

A. Wheel CHECK
B. Wrench CHECK
C. have fun CHECK

Our current direction is as follows:
1. develop an offroad club CHECK
2. develop a cooresponding website with a primary web page and a link to a forum that we utilize to plan wrenching and wheeling sessions as well as frozen family functions. CHECK
3. attempt to partnership with Alaskan offroad clubs to support land use issues, developign relationships and useage for the betterment of the sport CHECK
4. gain Tread Lightly! affiliation CHECK, (thanks RON!)
5. create competant, intelligent technical information on our forums so it is not just a blab forum. in the works
6. Wrench to get all of our rigs up to speed for the coming wheeling season. ONGOING BATTLE
7. plan to open new-to-us trails so we do not continue to utilize the same old trail systems and overuse to the point of erosion. OPENED 2 THIS YEAR
8. Grow a small, sturdy base of competant wheeler/wrenchers who display family oriented trustworthy behavior. IN THE WORKS
9. Steer our new club in a new direction in 3 different areas

A. cohesiveness CHECK
B. public perception NOTHING BAD YET
C. goals and realistic expectations CHECK

based on November's meeting, Frozen Axles is "tightening the shot group" a little and streamlining it's recruit process and website for ease of use and minimalization of drama. Look forward to good things in the future from the FAo gang.

See you on the trails!
